58-59 SR valves & hardware.
« on: 01.09. 2016 20:56 »
G'day all.
I’m in the process of re-building my 57 A7SS ( grown up to A10 with a 54 A7SS twin carb head ). I'm looking at fitting early 58-59 valves and hardware.
I need to BORROW one inlet & exhaust valves with springs, keepers & collets to see if I can make them fit before I get Kibblewhite to make a set of one piece forged valves ($120 each + post!).
If anyone can help I’ll pay postage and a six pack for your trouble.
Cheers

What exactly are you looking for, Musky?
Are you going to use A7 SS colletts or Rocket?

G'day Trev.
I want to use the SR valves, springs, keepers and colletts. I've never liked the A7SS/A7A10 iron head type, the grooved SR type would be much more secure. Just need an old used/buggered set to try and fit in the 54 A7SS head.
Cheers
