Goodbye to Karma (but not yet)
« on: 29.09. 2016 22:09 »
Karma came to an end (it's clear that 'Like' has taken over as the preferred way of showing appreciation), but all the good Karma points acquired are still out there somewhere, and will of course give luck and prosperity in this life and the nexts  :O)

I'm not sure. In my eyes Karma is a lot more valuable than likes. I still gave Karma to those that really went out of their way to help a forum member. Likes are just that, likes.

Get your point. Apart from (my opinion) like and karma doing much the same job in practice, there's another side to it, in the future forum software (still in beta, no absolute date yet) karma is removed, the developpers have decided it's only 'like' that will prevail.

Some more changes are in the pipeline, hopefully for the good, like much better attachment handling (pictures anywhere within posts\text, not only at the bottom like now).

Ok Muskrat, the Good Karma is back  *smile* but as mentionned it's a forum function that will be removed with the next software update (but there might be someone writing a modification so it can be added back, but no guarantee).

Thanks e. Glad you see what I meant.
Likes on face book are given very freely but I think Karma is harder to earn.
