headlamp, nacelle and top yoke cover
« on: 09.05. 2009 05:43 »
Looking for all this complete, or part by part for a 58 flash.

I see SRM has a re-pop, but it says for 60-62. I have no idea the difference, but this bike has enough problems without adding any more odd fitting bits.

Just needs to be repairable, or serviceable.

If nobody has such a thing, what makes the 60-62 different?

Hi Lee, as far as i know, the nacelle stayed the same from 1958 to 1962 for the pre units, then had a couple of minor changes after that when it went on the A65 units. I think also the side flashes changed slightly in 1960, if you look at http://www.draganfly.co.uk/shop/pi-1639534984.htm?categoryId=613 they stock the "top hat and trousers" nacelle assembly (1958-1962) with the flashes and a couple of other little bits as 1958-1959. It seems to be another grey area which someone else may be able to shed a bit of light on.
 Hope thats helpful,     Richie

Thank you Richie,

They have what I need, and the price is no where near as bad as I thought it might be! Besides bolts, I am starting to run out of things the bike needs.

Maybe I can get this bike done in under 2 years, which is just great! *smile*

 Thanks again,
