Clutch lock washer
« on: 11.04. 2022 11:37 »
I have the clutch installed and the nut tightened with a rattle gun and a touch of loctite blue. I cant seem to figure out how to bend the lock washer over the nut. I read a previous post about a cow mouth chisel? No idea what that is. I tried a small pry bar that reached to the inside edge of the washer but only managed to bend the handle of it and did nothing to the lock washer. Any other tool ideas or tips? *conf*

Sometimes a large(ish) pair of waterpump pliers are useful in conditions like this.

Hey Miker, is there any hope of you posting a pic of your Cush assembly when tightened, I’m just after something to compare mine to. Mine seems very compressed, and though it’s not cam- locked it does seem very close.
No worries if I’ve missed the boat and it’s all buttoned up already.
Cheers
