Parts list / manual / pictures for longstroke A7 "Star Twin" required ?

I have searched in vain for any data on this so anything covering My model (1950) would be welcome .

At the moment Im struggling fathoming the throttle \ cable arrangement for the twin carbs ?
Havent been able to find any data on timing settings , etc either .

In fact I havent been able to find any data on this machine full stop !

Can I ask how You rigged up the throttle arrangement for the twin carbs please ?
Cables , etc ?

At the moment I havent tackled this area & its in a mess with couples everywhere & a tight right angle affair coming out from the throttle ..You would need arms like Garth to use it !

I cant find any data on how the originals were set up ?
Fortunately the carbs are in first class condition .

Also did You have the gauze inserts in the bellmouths please ?

I had a lot of luck with this bike , when We stripped down the engine its still on original bore & perfect .
Crank on first re-grind & doesnt appear to have run !
Carbs are perfect with no wear .

Cam is perfect as are the followers but Im not 100% certain that I have put them in correctly ..should the radius be to the outside on the outside 2 ?
The centre pair are self explanatory .
I think this bike has hardly been used from new & Im really keen to get it running !

I'm puzzled by what you mean Step. The followers would have their radii in the same fore & aft direction.

I didnt have chokes on my bike, I used a splitter box the same as in Trev's pics for the throttle. A single cable from the throttle to the splitter under the tank with a cable to each carby from there. Screw in adjusters in the top of each carby to adjust the cables.

I didnt have gauze in the bellmouths but was looking for a pair when I sold the bike, I would recommend putting them on if you can find a pair.

I cant remember there being a radius other than the usual fore and aft radius on the outer two followers so cant help with that one.

Sounds like you where lucky with the engine condition, especially the cam being good.
