« on: 09.02. 2016 18:20 »
I owned a A7 Star twin in the 80's back in Lancashire England. Just wondering  whether the old workhorse is still out there

Meanwhile - we can cross ref that registration mark on a DVLA site somewhere can't we?

Yes, if you type 'Vehicle enquiry' into google you get the DVLA website vehicle enquiry page. Type the reg no. and make into the appropriate boxes and DVLA will tell you if the vehicle is on their database. Unfortunately OKY 545 is not. There are a couple of telephone numbers to ring in the event of an enquiry fail such as this but I doubt if anybody at DVLA would be able to offer much more info. Maybe worth a try...?
