Brake arm part No
« on: 14.04. 2009 19:06 »
Hi All
I need the part number for the upward facing rear brake arm on an A10 Flash Swinging arm
I have two numbers
42-6317 which Draganfly list as "not 1960 to 62"
42-6353 wich they list as 1960 to 62

The bike is supposed to be 59 but that does not of course mean every part is 59 but it is the rear brake with the cable coming in from the top which is reprted as 58 only in some parts book
I reckon it should be 42-6317 but would like this confirmed before I order

Thanks in anticapation

Bill
I have a parts book showing the upwards facing lever, [that is with the cable clevis above the cam] the number for that is 42-6353 although no year is mentioned. The backplate for this one is shown as 42-6357 and has the bolted type "cable outer clamp" if that helps.

A different parts book shows an upward facing lever as part number 42-6317, this goes with the backplate with the cast in cable clamp. part number 42-6314, so if your backplate has the "clamp" cast integral with the backplate, you need 6317.
