Greetings, like the title says I am new to the forum. Im also new to A10s and BSA preunits in general, although I have an old B33 that I have been piecing together.
My A10 is a 1962 Super Rocket.
I got it in a trade for a 2005 Bonneville. Although some would think I am crazy, I am very happy with the trade. The Bonneville was a nice ride and I got my fun out of it, but it never really satisfied me. Bottom line is I like old bikes.
It looks like someone did a lot of work to the A10 but left several little things (or not so little) out that keep it from being truly road worthy such as, leaky gas tank, stripped out fork cap bolts, way to long throttle cable, and of course broken
kickstand.
I will be posting about these items soon, when I find time to get to them.
We moved to Indianapolis, IN about a year ago from Western North Carolina USA. To those that dont know its been the equivalent of moving from an absolute motorcycle riding paradise to well a city in the flat midwest full of potholes etc. So I dont ride near as much. Also, I am very busy pursuing some graduate studies here.
When I do ride, I have a 1967 B44 to putt around on.
Hey I was thrilled to find this forum and have been reading up to get familiar with the ins and outs of these old bikes.

Here are a couple shots of the grab rail. It is mounted at the shock and the fender. I am sure this rear fender is an Indian re-manufacture, so I cannot say if it is period correct or what have you. It is of less than stellar quality, kind of wavy. Someone suggested later model fenders  that are shorter and have a sporty feel. That would be ok, as long as I can mount this grab rail to them.
