Hi I'm a new member. I have recently purchased a BSA A10 Gold flash 61 which I am in the process of dismantling and hopefully restoring to its former glory. I've previously restored and 1947 Norton International and Valocette Thruxton and 1959 Triton and numerous Japanese bikes. These was the days when I was living in England, I now live in Portugal. I'm hoping this forum and help with the advise and expertise of others. Many thanks.

With all those resto's under your belt you might be teaching us a thing or two. But then each marque has it's quirks.

Hold on folks, those Resto's were a long long time ago. Due to old age and having more time on my hands I am attempting to take on this new project, lets see how it goes...... By the way today we received the original log book and discovered that the BSA A10 is not 61 it's a 1958!!!!

You'll be right JK. It's like riding a bike. The first few miles are a bit wobbly. The good thing is we're all here to help. i wish this place was around when I did my 51 plunger back in 81-82.
