Looking good. I can see why you're impatient.

I like the handlebars, not a back-killer like clip ons but enough to give you some real "attitude" when riding; anyone know what those are?  Or were cut down from?

Steve... Met a chap outside of Northants Classics the other Saturday, seemed a knowledgable sorta guy. Gave me his card, take a look at his website www.precision-mc-paintwork.co.uk they are at Buckinghamshire MK16 9HW. No idea what his work is like but from a quick glance only this morning, looks good stuff!

you could try Dennis in Preston near Cirencester easy to find has been doing bike tanks for years in fact Brietie (Polly) use him for all his tank jobs I have not heard any adverse comments regarding his work or finish.
Only to glad to assist with his exact location if required as he is not to far away from where I live

Oh thanks guys! (or should i say Tanks!)

I will look him up Richard, and LJ i'll take a butchers at his site see what turns up!
I had a gut locally do my A65 tank and i was round watching him line the tank by hand. He was in his 80's then, amazing the straightest line id ever seen as were the curves, he used to signwrite vans and coachs way back .... a skill acheived over Many years i think perfect it was.

Sadly he has now passed away but a real gent he was too.

Lannis i know the original handle bars fitted to touring RGS were inverted standard A10 bars as my brother had a tourer

Lannis and LJ are you the same as on the RC forum???
