It's been a while
« on: 13.02. 2015 08:36 »
Greetings all. I've been away a while. My late fathers A7 is now in Spitfire scrambler trim (sort of).

I love the look and a change is as good a rest as they say!  Some cosmetic work to do and a bit of mechanicals to sort out.

Hope it won't upset the purists too much! (I can always put it back to original - nothings been cut and shut)  *smile*

I like the gaiter style forks most of the scramblers seem to have, does anyone know what forks these are or what model would be similar and fit an A7?

I will post some pics soon. Cheers for now

Al

G'day Al.
It has been a while, just over four years. Glad you found your way back.
You can get hard chromed forks for our A's (on my cafe). just take the shrouds and ears off, make a short cup to go under the bottom yoke for the gaiter to hold onto. Or, find a cheap old set and cut them short.
Cheers
