Hi Paul, no not really! I was suggesting more that excessive dive under braking might be improved by fitting new springs....yours might be a past it!....or that anything worn or binding in there will make matters worse!
I have exactly the same set up as you on my race bike and weigh 15 stone...

Sorry, my fingers were working before brain was in gear! Actually, not exactly the same set up, mine has a Dow top yoke and spaced standard length springs.....which works out (I think) about the same as a standard yoke and unspaced springs!
