Dear All,
I’d like to share a few info’s about my bikes and myself.
Living in Germany (Düsseldorf) and Belgium (Brussels) I’m riding bikes for quite some time, - about 35 years. Starting with Japanese bikes, going over to Ducati’s ending up with British and German bikes, I now do own a BMW R100 GS, a R100 RS(project), an Indian made Royal Enfield Bullet 500 and a ‘59 BSA A10 S/A Golden Flash. I own the Beesa already for 30 years, but most of the time in boxes due to a major engine (big end) problem during the 1st long trip. But now the time has come to rebuild it.
Some years ago I already started to buy / prepare parts so I have a decent stock as regrind, heat treated Crank, new camshaft, Pistons …. .
Missing parts are good oil pump (considering SRM part) and as I have doubt about the condition of con rods, I still wonder to buy new ones.
Due to time limitation, - I’m home only at weekends and family demands, the rebuild will take a bit longer. My guess is that I might need 2 years.
I hope to find help & hints for the rebuild & parts supply.
Best regards
Norbert
