A10 ski slope
« on: 28.06. 2014 12:56 »
Hi guys I am after the bit of tin ware called the Ski slope (rear engine plate cover complete). It fits under the carburetor attached to the frame, over the gearbox and bottom of the battery. It is for a 1959 Super Rocket. My bike has never had one so any drips from the carby go down the 'carburetor drip shield' then onto the gear box.

Any help procuring the part would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys thanks for the quick replies - I now have a ski slope in the post and awaiting its arrival. Great stuff thanks for the leads.

Clive your picture reminds me of years ago riding home with a lady on the back - I hit a patch of black ice - the bike completed a couple of 360s and I held it upright, Not through skill, just pure luck. I shouted out to the lady, "that was exciting wasnt it", only then I realized she had dropped off on the first spin. I don't think she liked my attempts at ice dancing on a motorbike.
