(split from 'Fork oil' in frame board)

Hi,

thanks for your friendly welcome and the quick replies.

Sorry about originally posting into the wrong branch, and I'm also sorry for not introducing myself.

Muskrat has me sussed out, I am indeed a friend of Resto Rob's. Even more than that, I'm the wife, aka "the better half" LOL

I don't really have anything to do with oldtimers and their restauration, I only asked this question here to help out Rob. He is out and about at work all day with no access to the internet and asked me to google this info for him, he was unsure as of what type of fork oil his bike takes. And as Mr. Google couldn't help me, I turned to you guys ;)

And a quick word about myself: I am Austrian, and Rob and I have a 4 month old baby boy. Before I got pregnant I did ride myself, and I am planning on getting back into it as soon as the little munchkin gives me a bit more freedom. I might run the risk of being kicked out of the forum if I tell you which bike I used to have and plan on buying, but I'll tell you anyways, it's a beamer F650gs :)

Thanks again for your help :)

G'day SOM.
It will be good hearing from the "leader of the opposition" (Aussie slang = wife) as to the trials & tribulations of being a widow to the BSA. We all will have to be careful with what we advise Rob as well.
Rob, I'll see if I can find those WWII code books. *shh*
