Welcome aboard Sly.

The plunger A7's are great bikes, I also had a 51'. Wish I still had it but unfortunately finances dictate just how many you can have.

By any chance is this the bike you have just bought.

We will have to catch up, most weekends I go riding over in western Vic. I have some friends up at Hamilton who I catch up with on a regular basis.

That was my bike Sly, I sold it to him about 12 months ago. He obviously didnt look after it too well.

Its a good bike and always went well.

Contact me direct and I will let you know as much as I can about the bike.

She,  is having a quiet moment after the dyno sprocket failed last friday morning. At least it was after a great 80 mile ride, only had to push /scoot a short way to refuge. Just love workday rides, when the crews busy and back roads are quiet.

That sure is a beauty of a bike gives me motivation for my long stroke but I must get the A10 done first..Is that an original paint scheme? I really like that red with the black fenders..

Not shure about the originality of the paint scheme. Pass that question on to Brian (the creator). It does look the goods, saw nothing like it at the all brit weekend ether !.

Thats how it was painted when I bought it. Not "correct" but it looked nice.

Here's a pic of it in its unrestored state. The fellow I bought it from restored it, it came from Melbourne.

He sold it because he kept seizing it and couldnt work out why. He had over geared it, he had a 20t on the gearbox and a 42t on the rear. he bought a new rear brake drum/sprocket from Modak and they told him 42t was correct for a A7 which it isnt, it should have a 46t which it now has with a 19t front.

I did a lot of miles on that bike and loved it. Over the years I have bought and sold a lot of bikes and that is one I wish I had kept and if I get the chance to get hold of another one I will.
