He had a website called "fast bsa twins" about Gene Theissin maybe? Him and I were emailing a few years back and lost touch. Is he here?

 Dan, I had a look too, and his facebook link doesn't happen either, maybe you could ask some of the links- I see SRM there, and Velobanjogent (Dennis Quinlan), who I contacted about speedos and was very helpful, but now retired from Speedos

I know him through email, and we share some friends in UK. Pretty sure he's on this site too. Haven't heard from him in a couple of years though.
