Could use a swing arm primary cover
« on: 18.10. 2013 05:04 »
Anyone have one they could part with? if so, please PM a price. It's not very heavy, so I'm thinking postage might not be too bad. I can clean up about any issues of finish or polish.

I have one. There is some damage near the centre of the clutch area which has been welded but may need further work.

Fido,

I sent you a PM.

Others,

Please do post if you,  too,  have a cover available. I don't think Fido will take offense if I have some choices. In the end someone is going to look at the new A7 and say, "Hey,  I remember that primary cover."  (edit: ... suddenly making photos of the left side of the bike more popular.)

Thanks, Muskrat. What I don't know can fill volumes, but now with one  less paragraph. So, what good is the aditional hole?

Richard,
The additional hole is for access to the clutch adjusting nuts. Probably not much use as it is better to adjust the clutch with the cover off.

Yep, the bid you see there is mine. Good timing for this one to come up. I'm hoping none of our friends here must also have it.

Hi Richard,
Did you ever score a primary cover?  If not, I have two to choose from, and I'm in the US.
