New member self intro
« on: 19.02. 2014 02:06 »
Hi All,
I just joined this forum, so thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Jeff. Been riding since 1969 (Honda 50). Owned several Britbikes over the years (BSA Lightning, Triumph Bonneville, BSA Victor, Norton Commando). Currently have a couple Moto Guzzis for my main rides (V11 LeMans, Stone Touring), A couple Yamahas (SR500, TT500), a Moto Morini 3 1/2 and numerous other parts/project bikes. Today I bought my first A10, or actually a truckload of A10 parts with 1 title and frame, a couple sets of forks, 2 complete engines, transmissions and loads of other stuff.
I am a BMW master technician at Big Twin Cycle in Boise, Idaho and also have(or had) Level 2 Ducati certification. Been working on my own bikes for about 30 years and doing it professionally for 6 years.
I already have questions about just what I have here, and haven't even gone through the boxes of parts yet (they filled a full size pickup). Looking forward to getting, and hopefully giving help and advice.

Hello & welcome, thanks for the intro posts,  a 'truckload' of parts sounds like a good start. Am hoping the forum will be useful.

G'day Jeff  *welcome*.
BMW/Ducati knowledge  won't get you far on a BSA, the spanners won't fit  *whistle*
So now the fun begins. The few extra parts might be swapped for bits you don't have.
Cheers
