fuel valve ...reserve side

hi,
   does any one know which side is the reserve / normal  of this type of valve? have have this type on my bike but can not remember which side is which

that would be the reserve in the pic you attatched, the normal one should have a bit of pipe covering some/most of the filter so that it stops flowing before the tank empties on that side, the other/reserve side of the tank is also deeper so it can drain later with theaid of that tap shown

sorry the photo was on its side.The valve is already on the bike and in use and i don`t really want to take it of.The valve has two outlets,one being the reserve ,just not sure which one.No big deal if no one knows ,just curious thats all .By the way there is one on each side of the tank.I know when i brought them there were quite a few sorts of valve to choose from ,i think i only went for the double type on the price.Two of the single plunger type would have done the same job (left hand side of tank being the reserve side ,so my dad told me!)

 Maybe try draining the tank into a can from each tap.  If no fuel happens when you open the second of each taps, you were already on reserve, (or it's blocked).
  Then as a check, pour the fuel back in, with a tap open, if fuel flows immediately, yer on reserve, if nothing flows, switch taps and see what happens.....if fuel flows, close it and open the other one and keep filling till fuel flows..and so forth...?? Trial and success-no errors here..??
  I'm getting myself confused, but hope you get the drift.....??

   While you doing this, beers are ok, but no smokin'......!!!
