« on: 01.07. 2013 08:10 »
Hi to all,

 I would like to ask about the tappet clearance for BSA C15 ( inlet & exhust ) and if it's the same way to set it like the A10 ( full open the inlet and make the clearance to other )

Thanks

You do the tappets on a C15 like most engines. Set the piston to TDC on the firing (compression) stroke and then adjust the clearances.

G'day Renos.
                 Inlet = 0.008", Exhaust = 0.010".
Rotate engine till inlet valve just closes (push rod loose). Adjust Exhaust. Rotate engine till Exhaust valve clearance is just taken up but before the valve starts to open. Adjust inlet.
I just downloaded the manual from here  http://www.klassiekrijden.nu/techniek/bsa-1960s-c15-b40-manual.pdf
