My B31 was in similar condition to that when I got it and I did a rolling restoration over the following couple of years, so it was never off the road for more than a few weeks at a time. I suppose the main worry with just getting the A10 running without an engine strip is the crankshaft sludge trap. Saying that, I've never cleaned the one on my A7 though and I've had that bike since 1995!
