RZ 250 Mikuni on SuperRocket-info?

I came across a mention of this on the forum. -Fitting an RZ250 Mikuni to the Super Rocket.
Boys... I'm so 'over' Amals nasty distorting, fast wearing bodies (yes I do only just nip them up), and they always seem to seep fuel even with new gaskets. Can't afford a Sudco kit.
Can anyone come up with Mikuni types, and jetting that'll work? -So the RZ250 ones work, what about the RZ350 ones, (I know they are slightly different) - not only jetting diff. (Lucky for my lad he's taken our RZ250 home with him so I can't get me filthy mitts on it.... bugger!!!)

I was hoping to get some sort of starting point re: jetting a Mikuni. My SR is a first kick starter with the concentric on it, but I know it'll give me grief long term so as I have a 29mm Mikuni (in stock!) and have fabricated a manifold for it, I wanted to try it. Surely someone must have done this and have some idea of jetting.
My bike is Super Rocket spec, minimal pod air filter, siamesed zorst and goldie muffler (well un-muffler really!)

I have a Mikuni VM 30mm on my Super Rocket, I bought it from Allens in the UK
I need to check out what jets etc are fitted as I have another for my next project
Give me a few days and I'll see what I can do

I have a VM32 on my Velocette Venom, starts first time ticks over no mean feat on a Velo) and effective choke.  The slide is hard chromed brass too. If you want to ride it rather than just show it, its the way to go.
Got mine from Motocarb http://www.motocarb.co.uk/  very friendly and cheaper than Allens.
