wassell carb choke question
« on: 21.07. 2013 20:28 »
looking to try a new Wassell 9/30 carb. as the old Amal didn't have a choke the old choke cable hole was filled with mastic.
can I get away with the same sort of thing and would I need to remove the choke slide and spring?
the Amal has a plain diameter for choke cable ferrule but the Wassell has screw in adjusters. means I have to make new cable
allways willing to learn

You could drill out the thread and use the original top hat ferrules.
The adjusters cause the cable to have too tight a bend.
