Hi all,

Guess what?? yes it's lashing it down with heavy snow in Brum tonight!!

Have owned BSA's all my short'ish life I thought I should perhaps join in with all the posts ,and once I can work out how to navigate this forum site correctly I will take great pleasure in reading/writing about all things motorbike related and posting answers to mechanical questions if I can help anyone out!

Cheers all  *beer*

Thanks Everyone for the very kind replies, arr, it feels like Mecca here in Brum tonight!

Couldn't sleep....snow all gone. It's peaceful now, like Mecca but in a few hours time when the sun comes up its gonna get noisy! Damn right, said WMuPTy Bob!
It's here, you know(downstairs, not in bed), no the replacement dynamo...... after the old great one had spun too much for far too long and the comm quietly exploded last weak.
It went supernova man! There was great sadness all over the land for the passing on of the comm.
I should have seen it coming.
It all went quiet for many days while the bike bled oil and I traveled alone around the hinterlands of the Black Country.
But it all come good yesterday morning,E3L, must thank TC for the great trip round his workshop of big old green spiny machines, real spinning machines with big f.o. dials (and I'm not easily impressed these days!)

God I love the Black Country!! All this engineering! All this history! The electro static noise of tens of thousand of volts just volting about the place! The sheer talent and knowledge just dripping out of every sooty town. Shame we scrapped it all Maggie, still the Victorian bit's clean up well! Joke.

Yow car'nn undastand um butt thay no what theyam on aboat mush!

Peace all over the world

Hi Zen and welcome I worked in the Black Country in the 60s and 70s it was even more noisy and dirty then.
