I don't think my seat base turns up as much, therefore I would say in fairness my seat base will not fit and will not take money from a BSA owner in the circumstances.
Hope you find one.

Heyup Tumbleweed,

Where are you situated?  I just thought that if I could easily get my spare base to you, you could give it a trial fit and if it was ok, borrow it as a pattern.  That would give you a better idea of what to look out for.

I also have a spare sponge and seat cover but I don't know if all 3 items are compatible with each other.

Hi Tumbleweed,
Fairly sure that I still have the one I took of my old bike, I'll look in the garage today.
As Beezageezauk says, where are you? I'm in Wimbledon if you want to come around and look.

Hi Tumbleweed,
I do indeed still have it. It is by no means perfect but it could probably be rescued.
Hopefully I have managed to attach a photo.

Well Tumbleweed that is the same base as mine that came with the bike, but never fitted. Did not want to send the wrong one to the chap.

thanks jim and beesergeezer , i have just found one its a used  aftermarket thing but it has a steel base i havent seen it , i am going to have to buy it without seeing it as it too far away, i live in notts , the ideal situation for me would be a genuine base and i could fit a new foam and cover i suppose ,   anyway   thanks again
