If it's 7/16"Cycle (BSC) that's same as 7/16" UNF, however if it's left hand thread
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

Hi WozzA,

From your description I presume that the bike is a Plunger Framed model.

If so the nut for the left footrest is indeed 7/16 dia X 20 TPI and a left hand thread.   Part number 67-4856.
The nut for the right footrest is the same thread but a right hand thread.  Part number 67-4852.

The original nut for the swinging arm model (just in case I presumed wrong) is 1/2 inch dia X 20 TPI right hand cycle thread and part number 42-4841.

If you have difficulty getting a nut in Oz check out www.draganfly.co.uk who appear to have them in stock.

67-4856  @ £3.60 each
67-4852  @ £3.03 each
42-4841  @ £1.86 each

plus postage.

All the best,

Beezageezauk

Wozza,  I bought nuts for my Plunger at Modak's.  They had one sitting on the counter, under some other stuff, and told me to come back in 20 minutes and they would find the other one. Buggered if I know how they find stuff in that shop! Sure enough 20 minutes latter they had them both.  Not cheap though. They may have what you need.
