longstroke A7 pistons

Has anyone used these L.F.Harris pistons in a longstroke A7? They are listed as A7 but make as Triumph and 9.1 comp. I am looking at 7.25 comp but could machine off the top of these to match. Any thoughts.

G'day Terry,
don't have a LS A7 but used harris pistons in the A7SS racer, they were T150/160 9:1's and performed quite well.
Be careful lopping off the top, don't make them too thin.
Cheers

Yes, it would be safer to make a compression plate although you then find the pushrods are too short
