New from Melbourne
« on: 22.11. 2011 13:42 »
Hi Guys a friend / member told me about this site ?I?m just new to the forum so be gentle..
I must admit I've been lurking in the background for awhile.. & have enjoyed reading the threads,& look forward to learning more..   *smile*
A little about myself..
I?ve been riding for about 40 years, First bike was a 125cc bantam paddock hack, then a 72 Commando, a Kwaka W650, 5 or 6 Honda 750/4?s, a V4 1000cc Honda & currently have a 02 Harley Heritage Softail FLSTC .
I live in Melbourne & have recently retired from Train driving after 38 years, so I thought I?d get myself a little project to keep me busy & work on in the back shed..
Recently I picked up a ?57 A7SS swing arm basket case with the A10 motor, & 3 boxes of parts.   *conf*
I?ve been sorting out the boxes & found that there are many parts that obviously belong to other models, so yes it?s going to be a long process to get her back together, BUT one I?m looking forward to..

Happy to be a member?   Cheers   WozzA

G'day Wozza, welcome to the forum.
looks like you'll be taking a packed lunch to the shed most days.
 I have a '57 A7SS that I turned into the A10 cafe. You'll love it.
Cheers

G'day Wozza,
A train driver from Melbourne, you probably drove me around at some stage, caught the train to school for a few years about 30 or more years ago.
Looks like a good project, a fair bit of gear there, not sure if you have the guards, if not, start keeping your eyes peeled, they can take some time to find!

regards, Cus

G'day wozza,

Welcome to the site mate, where in Melbourne are you?  I live in Rowville, near Dandenong.  I've not yet met a forum member here but I think you and I may be the only two melbourne boys here!  Good luck with the project mate.
