Newbies project
« on: 17.11. 2010 13:54 »
Hi all,

My uncle collected many many bikes over a 20 year period and they still all in boxes.
When i last saw him i asked if i could get some parts to start a project.
I ended up with frame and engine and few other parts for a 61 Super Rocket.
Basically this is the road so far - some parts i have got, i will replace down the future with better
items but with current funds, im trying to do as good a job as i can.

you are very lucky to have an uncle you can ask for a project like that , you may find the beeza a bit underwhelming to ride after the gixxer though.

haha - yeah very lucky although not sure if he will part with much more.
Bit of a hoarder i think so my only hope is that he leaves a couple in his will ! ha

The SR starts first kick and runs like a dream ! I have ridden it up and down the street and its great.
Its a different type of thrill to the GSXR obviously but i enjoy the BSA a whole lot *smile*. I seem to enjoy
everything on 2 wheels. Haven t owned a car for 9 years now and can only see
myself getting one if i start a family down the track.
