G'day Ray, Welcome to the forum.
I think it's great to hear of  mature gents (or ladies) returning to motorbikes. I would imagine the kids (now middle aged) would be a little concerned, but the grandkids will think your awesome.
I also love stories of biking in the old days, and am sure you will have a few gooduns to share with us.
Cheers

Hiya, thanks for the welcome to the forum,i have just added a photo of my bike as my Avatar, just got my Fairing back from the painters, fitted it last week, got real lucky on eBay with that at the mighty price of £4.95,had a round trip of 130 miles to pick it up,but consider it worth the journey,a pal painted it for me at £20.00.so as they say SORTED.
LJ i'm 25 miles from P'Boro.
Been involved in bikes most of my life, and for 28years was spannerman to a Grasstrack rider, which took us all over the Continent in the later stages after he won the British Championship in 1971.His name Mervyn Price just in case you want to know.
Thats it for now, Keep to the LEFT.Ray
