Clutch pushrod length
« on: 04.07. 2010 22:48 »
Evening all,
can someone verify the exact length the clutch pushrod should be.Have just bought 1960 Super Rocket and this is my first a10 with the Triumph clutch.(had two before with 6 spring)As the pushrod was bent and showing signes of abuse I ordered a new one which has come a little shorter. One on bike is 11.and15.16 of an inch.New one 11.and 27. 32ths.
Chap who ordered it said there was a difference with the 4  and 6 spring clutch pushrod lenghts.Which one is correct. It would be nice to have a second (or more) opinion before I return.
Cheers.  Taroh.

Hi Taroh
Ive just finished restoring my plunger A10 with a 6 spring clutch & the rod length is 11.5 ins. I believe for the 4 spring clutch it is 12 ins
