Help!!! (missing clutch part ?)

Hi Chaps can you help I think I have something missing betwen the clutch adaptor & the gearbox sprocket ?

                   I can't see anything else on the pic. Don't know for sure, I've only ever had a 4 spring on mine. hope the pic helps you.

I reckon they are 6 spring clutch bits with a loose scroll, looks complete but I am not expert.
The four spring these combined in one part, I thought some one had put an old washer in for a laugh until told otherwise

I will dig my dead clutch out over the next few days, I stripped the puller  in the adaptor so had to weld it together to remove it, has queer double row ball bearing arrangement ( SRM make a more solid replacement I believe ). And have a look for you.

Mine looked expensively dead so I fitted a 4 spring clutch with many adventures on the way,

Hello Ted how nice to see you on this forum & glad you have purchased a quality steed at last.

As far as the missing part im very confused & as for the photography Im afraid my Kodak 35 (circa 1938 )has finally given up the ghost & had to rely on my Daughters mobile phone to try & take a picture I promise to keep practicing.

Melvyn's comments thoroughly endorsed - with the sole caveat that as a fellow AMC person too, I reckon you already had a 'quality steed' - and now you have a nice workhorse to go with it. I do envy you your new toy, and if I ever said plungers were for clearing sinks, I take it back.
