Melvyn,

Welcome! It's always great to have new members join us. Personally, I am amazed at all the A7-A10 owners who, seemingly, have not discovered this forum. I think I can speak for the forum-at-large (unoficially, of course) that we prize seeing photos of our member's bikes and we look forward to seeing yours.

'going colonial' ....  hmmmmm.
tombeau, is that a local term for going troppo. (short for tropical)
Its very apt.
All north Queenslanders are troppo.
All New South Welshmen and West Australians are troppo too.
I don't think they all 'ride out' though. Its got more to do with the sun and not wearing a hat.

and welcome Melvyn.
cheers

Olev, a bloke I knew used to refer to Harleys as "Colonial nonsense", which made laugh.
"Ride outs" I think of Harley owners meeting at the dealership and patrolling the locale. Its a pet irk.
I prefer a "run", "trundle" or "blast".

Anyway thats all beside the point.
Lets see some pictures of your bike Melvyn.
Is that firebird/hornet fibreglass tank on it?
Cheers,
Iain

Iain I think the tank is off an A65 Spitfire ? I will replace when  I can. I will try to take some photos soon as I have just finished putting it back together after a minor accident with a Range Rover late last year ooops!! Cheers Melvyn

Hi Melvyn

Good to see another A10 in Southampton.
Would be great to see you at Hants branch BSAOC (www.hampshirebsa.org.uk).
We meet 1st & 3rd Thursdays (tomorrow) at the Bold Forester, Soberton Heath so not too far for you. We have a number of members from Southampton as you might imagine.
We do get out on runs or ride outs etc and will be getting more active now that April is here, good as.
I'm pretty sure my daughter saw your band play in Fareham not so long back.
Will be great to see you at the club or around and about.

Cheers
Mike
