Bought and fitted another mid casing c/w quadrant from flea bay , mercy me gearchange seems to be ok! , so I dont know why as quadrant seemed to look no better than my old one, timed it the same , I dont know but what the heck we have gears now!.Nevertheless thank for all your ideas chaps ,this forum is invaluble when you get a problem like this many heads are better than one and you feel that your not on your own and progress of the old project is possible any way ,rolling chassis .....Done, gearbox........Done, onwards to the motor, speak to you all soon I expect!
