Welcome wackyone, you'll fit into the funnyfarm nicely.
I found the A7 in a chook shed out in the bush and the cafe in a barn in Brazil. You never know when or where one will turn up. Happy hunting.
Cheers

Chook = chicken = hen house which is where I'll be when the leader of the opposition (wife) finds all the receipts for BSA parts.

I've been given some details on a 51 A10 plunger, any views on these ? sounds like its 90 percent complete and some sort of restoration started. any advise would be a great help to a novice like me  *eek*

G'day wackyone,
nice bikes the '51 plungers. Quite a few here on the forum. I love my '51 A7. The plungers give it the old skool look especially with the sprung seats, and handle better than most people think.
Get along to a few shows or swap meets (autojumbles), you'll usually see a few different A's to check out.
Might pay to join the local BSA or classic bike club as well. Don't get the first one you see. Shop around.
Cheers

yes, vintage looking rigid \ plunger or swinging arm in one of the many nice incarnations, 500 or 650, pay and drive away or enjoying a good dose of restoration work first? Whatever model, parts and help are available. Make your choice...
