Cus are you wanting a actual 63' frame or just one with the single sided rear brake ? There is a early s/arm frame on evil-bay at the moment that should take the single sided brake if thats what you are after.

Thanks Brian,
Yeah, I had a look at that one, looks in pretty good nick, but I'm after one with
correct No's for '63, I'm in no hurry (probably just as well), I think I'll put
a wanted add in "just bikes" as well.
Was that tank on evil-bay any good?

I didnt bid on that tank so not sure how good it was. I e-mailed Burton's Bike Bits in the UK and they reckon repro plunger A10 tanks should be available soon. How good the quaity will be is yet to be seen however as they will probably be made in India like all the others.

It might be worth contacting the bloke who trades as  ihopefor  on evil-bay as he has lots of A10 stuff and may have a 63' frame.

Cus,
Just curious, but what happened to the frame with that bike?
Have you tried Mike Reilly for a frame? Those blokes in S.A. also had a lot of A10 stuff a while back. Used to trade as K&H I think.

G'day Trevor,
The frame with that bike was chopped at the neck, & was a bit of a mess &
had these weird forks. But the other reason was the bike didn't have a title
& wouldn't get past customs, frame No. had been removed also, so I got the
guy to strip the bike & crate all the parts except the frame, forks & ring in tank.
It should be all delivered in a couple of weeks, the whole deal turned out pretty
good, definatly worth doing, not sure what I'm going to do yet, but leaning
towards building another S/ rocket when I get my hands on a '63 frame......

Hi Cus,
No, I haven't got a frame tucked away, well not a spare one anyway. Every one is spoken for.
I hope you at least got the bloke in the U.S. to send the swinging arm with the rest.
Shame about the frame not having a number as most butchered frames can be repaired with a lot of time and effort and a fair bit of skill.

Trevor,
I got him to completely strip the frame inc. s/arm so will need just frame & the dreaded $$$$ front end,
but I'm in no rush & will just store all the gear away.
