A10 twin carb cylinder head on eBay
« on: 10.12. 2009 18:07 »
Has nothing to do with me but I spotted it on the US eBay site and though that it may be of interest to someone. I doubt that it will do much for performance and just brings the added hassle of balancing carbs but it looks genuine.

G'day Jim, I am watching that. The price is good so far but will probably go through the roof later. The manifold looks similar to one I made, but had a hard time sealing the joints, and with the inlet that short it would be all top end power. Twin carbs do unlock a few more ponies.
Cheers

Balancing and setting up cant be any harder than fiddling about with an early A7 Star Twin duel carbs, with pre monoblocs. With a proper carb balancing kit the job is easy and once set up right should then be left well alone. I'm happy with my set up and although not a great noticeable difference in power, it is a great talking point! Someone will get an amount of pleasure out of this along with a painfully empty wallet as it wont just be the carb thats likely to go up in price, but also the purchase of another carb and internal parts to match each other.
