I have got hold of half a swinging arm A10 project. I think mid 1950s that I want to put on the road for riding, not Sunday riding, but regular use. Looking for a rear wheel, prefer 18 inch with sprocket in usable condition, not bothered about wonderful chrome. Or I have a hub if anyone can rebuild for a reasonable price? Also looking at the front end and trying to get a set up that works in modern traffic, for riding 2 up. Maybe an 18 inch later front wheel with twin leader shoes?
I live in Yorkshire, anything considered to make this bike feel a bit more like a buildable project.
Also looking for the following at some point in the future:
A dual seat or maybe a seat base
mudguards, not sure if deep or sporty types.
Downpipes and silencers
A concentric carb would also be useful, if anyone knows the spec?
this is just for starters!! Maybe if someone has another part bike around, maybe interested in purchasing.
