Maybe, spoke just a little too soon…..

The clutch basket/gear had some sideway movement. I thought I’d read that it was ok, but just thought I’d check. Can’t remember if it had play prior to taking to bits. Movement is measuring at 2mm - although it looks more. I did measure it a few times from different places and all coming in at 2mm.
Anyone got any advice?

It's the gear box shaft you have to worry about should be almost none, but the clutch basket will have a bit, sounds like yours is acceptable
