A7ss head onto A10
« on: 18.08. 2024 20:46 »
Anybody ever fitted an A7ss head to an A10? If so did you leave it standard or did you change valves, springs or anything else? I have an a10 goldflash which has a badly damaged iron head. I purchased an A7ss alloy head in the hope of fitting it to my bike.

"An A7 head will fit onto an A10 without modification safely as long as flat top pistons are used".

I would suggest an A 10 head gasket to be on the safe side.

G'day Nomad.
I also put SR valves in mine. BUT had to mix & match springs and machine the A7 top collar to take the SR split cones.
Cheers
