Rear Shocks

The NJB shocks I bought were used on my classic Trials bike, which really needs very good control of springing and damping. The NJBs were cheaper than anything else i found, yet I was very happy with the build quality. I wouldn't hesitate to put 'em on my Velocette or my SR.

I've got them on my Velo Venom, and they came via the VOC spares scheme. They're non-adjustable though.

Jools - were your NJB's the standard ('clubmans' on the trials? or 'classic'?) or the 'ultimate'? I'm wondering if the 'ultimate' would look ok on an a10.

Mike, I got the 'Ultimate' - set up for a TY250 Yamaha Trials. See:

(1 pair NJB Ultimate shocks, 40lb springs, 12mm mounts to suit TY250B Yamaha. Cost £219 delivered to my Australian address).

Price will have changed no doubt as I bought them 3-4 years ago.

Think they'd look just fine Mike, but obviously depends on if / what spring shrouds you want to fit.
They look pretty similar to Girlings or Konis.

I fitted NJB 'Classic Road Bike' shocks to my swinging arm A10 in Jan 20, mine have uprated 126 lb springs for sidecar and I've been very pleased with them.

You can see in the emails from NJB that they are manufactured in Taiwan, or were when I bought them in 2020 and what they cost.
