Assembly order?
« on: 26.01. 2024 21:53 »
I'm bored waiting for my engine re-grind and want to get on.  Gearbox is in now.  Can I put the inner primary case on loose and assemble the clutch and still get the engine in or will it have to come off again?  Judging by the past few weeks the clutch will take hours of fettling!
I'll build the bottom end on the bench then install it and build the top end in situe.
Thanks

Rob yes if you want to start swearing when fastening the engine in, nuts , studs etc  *pull hair out* it's better left out of the way

Ha, thank you! Its so obvious now you say it but I couldn't see the wood for the trees.  The stop light switch doesn't work, judging by the rate things are going that's a good day's fettling *smile*
