My guess is, the brakes on the CL were never going to be powerful enough to cause the bloke in the sidecar to get squished by the box falling on him  *smile*

I think that lintel should be removed and presented to our Member Mr Chater Lea, to adorn some part of his premises. These things are important!

In the photo's I have seen some time ago the lettering looked to be chisseled away but you could still see the outline, so it looks to have been re done, I thought the lettering was raised originally??
maybe my photo is poor quality?

I would dearly like to bring my CL back to the factory for its 100th birthday in 2025
I can dream can't I :o
I really need to get on with it and get it finished, but its not like a BSA A10 where virtually every part can be found with relative ease  *eek*
