2023 Bathurst Show
« on: 25.02. 2023 22:53 »
G'day Fellas.
Yesterday I rode the plunger up to Bathurst, only 70Km but on the highway sat on 60-70MPH the whole way. No rattles or leaks and settled to a nice idle whenever I stopped for lights  *yeah*
The show is put on by the Brotherhood MC and just about every other god bothering club was there. I was waiting to be struck down by lightening  *whistle*. As always a good show with a few stalls. About 200 bikes entered but well over 1000 bikes parked out on the streets. As usual 95% HD's in all shapes and sizes.
I entered the old girl in the vintage but knew I had no hope. Their idea of vintage is anything before 1992  *shh*. There were only a few bikes around our age 40's to 60's. The vintage class was won by a beautiful Suzuki GT750 waterbottle.
Had quite a few looking and chatting about the plunger. One young fella was very interested as his dad has a GF and another two in boxes. I told him to check out the Forum.
I rode home the back way, a bit slower as the roads are pot holes held together with patches, but there's two pub stops that way *grins*
Cheers

Looking good Musky! I don't see an oilslick underneath; did you move it just before the photo was taken? 😏

G'day GB  *lol*
If you look closely there is one drop next to the center stand. Bl@@dy primary. The cover was eaten out by a loose chain many years ago so I modified the drain hole. Look between the foot peg and brake lever you'll see a drain bolt. I'll have to re-visit it.
Cheers
