plunger bottom collar 89-4258
« on: 14.03. 2023 11:59 »
I have been trying to find a bottom collar (Part no 89-4258) for the rear plunger, with no luck. On two occasions when I thought I found one, when the parts turned up they were the top collar. If I had access to a workshop and lathe I would get one turned up.

So if any body knows of any which are available please could you let me know

Thank you

I'm trying to remember what they look like. Is their purpose to centralise and support the bottom coil spring?

Thats correct, it sits at the base of the lower shroud (89-4231), the plunger column (89-4041) goes though the center and the rebound sping (89-4259) is held in place by the raised boss.
