Oil pump worm drive locking washer
« on: 10.01. 2023 15:05 »
Now then lads, which way or how does the oil pump worm drive locking washer fit? I've taken a picture below. Does the tab just slide into the slot on the end of the crankshaft as the nut is tightened up? Haynes manual vague again and can't find anything using the search function with my terminology.

G'day Catz.
Yes between the worm and the nut.
I don't know why there isn't a tab on the out side of the washer as well. I just peen over an edge to make certain it's not going to budge.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't tell how the old one was fitted because it was all mashed up.
