New member saying hello
« on: 25.08. 2022 17:35 »
Hi, new member (been picking up some tips as a guest for a month or so). 1961 A7 SS. Enjoying my first experience of classic ownership and finding lots to keep me occupied. A Year owning a Triumph Street Cup sparked my purchase of the BSA. It just felt like if i was going to ride a British twin, it might as well be an old one. (Also have a CBR600RR which replaced the Cup earlier this year - chalk and cheese I know). Plans for the A7 is to keep it on the road and use it regularly, but it has fought me every step of the way so far with some previous dodgy restoration. So look out for some posts looking for advice and questions! Cheers, Simon.

*welcome* Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the intro. More pictures would h
be great, especially of your work as it goes along. Before too long here, you will understand why I want to beat GB in saying this. Please search the forum and, maybe, others sources, for "sludge trap." First thing to know, it's NOT an external oil filter.
