'Sgt John 'Crasher' White and Sgt. Freddie Frith of the Royal Army Service Corps Driving and Maintainence School based at Portinscale during the Second World War are seen near Keswick on a pair of Velocette motorcycles. Both were well known TT and trials riders before the war so I would assume they were both instructors at the school. Original black and white photo by Lt.
