Needing to renew my stash of BA inserts, including 3BA which is not so simples these days, I called and then ordered online a few days ago. The various packs (in tens) of 0, 2, 3 & 4 in various lengths came in 4 days from UK to France.
Their bits are actually made in Germany and are high quality. (Some I have had from elsewhere have been like soft wire.)
The low-demand BA sizes (eg 3) are more expensive than the common ones - because Uni-Thread have had to buy the tooling from the makers and pay their man by the hour for tiny production runs. Which I thought was enterprising in an effort to maintain a complete service, considering there can't be a whole lot in making these things in the first place.
Anyway, very helpful people and excellent service.
